In Cetara, today, Thursday, November 21, 2024, final safety works are being carried out on the iconic arch bridge in Piazza Roma, located at km 44+900 of the SS 163 Amalfitana. The project, managed by INFRAM s.r.l., includes asphalt resurfacing on both the bridge and Via Francesco Prudente, necessitating temporary road closures and adjustments to public transport routes.

According to Ordinance No. 20 issued on November 19, 2024, the following measures are in place:

• SS 163 Amalfitana Closure: From 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, in both directions, for all vehicles except emergency services.
• Via Francesco Prudente Closure: From 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, in both directions.
• Parking Ban in Piazza Roma: Effective from 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 20, until 9:00 PM today.

To mitigate disruptions, an emergency transport plan has been developed in collaboration with SITA:

• Buses from Salerno: Will terminate at the Hotel Cetus parking lot and depart from there back to Salerno.
• Buses from Maiori: Will terminate at Piazza Roma and return from there to Maiori.

Travelers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and follow the signage and instructions from local authorities. The road is expected to reopen fully at 9:00 PM tonight.
